MoU Signed between YOLAX INFRANERGY PVT LTD and Electrical Engineering Department of PIEMR Better interaction between Technical institutions and industry is the need of the hour. This will have great bearing on the Engineering Curriculum, exposure of industrial atmosphere to engineering students and subsequent placement of young graduating engineers in industries across the country.  After concrete efforts of Electrical Dept. & the Management, the students of II, III & IV Year, visited following Industries:
  • Crompton Greaves Ltd. , Pithampur for Second , Third and Final Electrical Engineering students Oct, 2016, Hydal Power plant Visit at NHDC , Omkarkeshwar, Aug 20115,.Kirloskar Pumps  Dewas, April 2015,Darling Pumps, Indore 29th March 2015,Manglia Station  and Indore Station Visit, April 2014,Singhaji Thermal Power Plant, Khandwa , April 2016.

  • During the industrial visit, main emphasiswas put on understanding the mechanism under proper supervision of the experts. Students gained practical knowledge by seeing the different panels at the grid & learned the automation of grid working through PLC & SCADA operations.

Internship on Industrial Automation PLC SCADA

Department of Electrical Engineering, Prestige Institute of Engineering Management & Research organized one week Internship program from 11th DEC 2019 to 16th Dec 2019 on Industrial Automation PLC,SCADA in association with Sunsai Automation .The objective of the internship was to make students aware about process of automation used by industries, using various PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens / Mitsubishi) through hands-on session. Mr. Vishal Sharma, Director- Sunsai Automation was fecilitator of the Intership. Dr Manojkumar Deshpande, Director-PIEMR congratulated Electrical Department for doing such internships time to time. Dr Dipali Sarvate Head, Electrical Engineering motivated students to become industry ready. Workshop was coordinated by Prof Dipesh Suryavanshi.
