Library – Prestige Engineering College Indore



Well designed and State of the art Information Resource Centre (Library) is located on the 1st floor of the College building. It has been systematically and steadily strengthened. The library operations and services are fully computerized Library Automation Software and a Bar Code based circulation system is in use. The PIEMR Library is equipped with 26,000+ Books and 4500+ Titles from top rated Indian and International Publishers including Wiley, Elsevier, Mcgraw Hill, Pearson, Cambridge University Press, New Age publication and different streams. Students can search books at Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). The PIEMR Library is also maintains a good collection of important educational resources on Engineering , Technology and Management.​

The PIEMR Library also provides Book Bank facility wherein students can get the textbooks issued for the entire semester.


The Libraries are central to the institution’s intellectual life where students and faculty needs are the top priority and Develop, Organize and Maintain Collections.

Library Advisory Committee makes recommendations to ensure good governance and all round development of the library.

Students may borrow a maximum of 3 books at a time for 15 days.

Book Bank Facility

Book Bank Members may borrow a maximum of 5 Books at a time for entire semester.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)

On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) allows searches by keywords or through several access points like author, title, subject, publisher and year of publication. The system is extremely user friendly and enables searches to be conducted with ease and speed. Database of library books is being updated on day-to-day basis with details of recently acquired books.

National Digital Library (NDL)

NDL is a project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time.
