Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research (PIEMR) is a premier institute established in year 2008 by the Prestige Education Society. It is subsequent chapter of academic excellence after the establishment and success of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, started in year 1994. The PIEMR is conceived with a vision to produce competent and qualifying engineers with sound theoretical knowledge, practical skills, leadership qualities and aptitude for entrepreneurship. The institute has set a mission of creating ethical, moral and responsible professionals those can be proudly and capably play their role of Global Citizen. PIEMR is an institution that makes learning a focused, fruitful, and enjoyable experience for all its students. We are sure that our present and future students place themselves as the most employable technical professionals, moulded in the educational offerings of the institute.

“PRESTIGE INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH” is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & DTE, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGTU), Bhopal for conduct of academics and research.

Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGTU) of Madhya Pradesh was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh vide Act No. 13 of 1998. The need for setting up a University of Technology in Madhya Pradesh was long felt. So, to consolidate and rejuvenate the system of technical education in the state and also to ensure total quality in teaching, research and development and extension services in engineering and technology institutions, this university was set up. The university is well known for its extensive technical range of courses and claims to be one of India’s best universities.

Objectives

We are a mission-driven institute and envisage some core objective for our student. They are:

  • To provide uniform professional education and training to all, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, province, faith, gender, political affiliation and financial status.

  • To produce graduates having firm foundation of mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge and are equipped with problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills that will serve them throughout their professional life.

  • To produce graduates having the ability to successfully pursue careers as entrepreneurs or engineers in service industry (IT) and infrastructure sectors in private, public and government enterprises.

  • To produce graduates having the ability to successfully pursue advanced studies in engineering of different specialized engineering disciplines; or in other diverse fields.

  • To produce graduates those have the ability to assume professional leadership roles.

  • To undertake and encourage research in the context of present and future requirement of engineering discipline.
